Vintage Festival's annual wine competition

 

Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival is sponsoring its annual Amateur Winemakers Competition in conjunction with its 114th Vintage Festival. Deadline for all entries is Friday, Aug. 12.

Entry forms can be downloaded from the festival website at www.sonomavinfest.org or may be picked up at the Valley Wine Shack, located at 535 W. Napa St., Sonoma.

All wines should be dropped off at the Valley Wine Shack no later than Aug. 12. Each bottle must be properly labeled and accompanied by a completed, current Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival entry form and all appropriate fees.

Awards will be presented at the 114th Opening Night Gala on Sept. 23 in the historic Sonoma Barracks.
