Vincent Thomas Egan Harper, 30, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, at his home in Santa Rosa. Vince was born on April 30, 1980, to William T. Harper IV and Kelly D. Egan at Sonoma Valley Hospital.

Vince grew up in Sonoma attending Valley of the Moon Nursery School, Prestwood Elementary, Altimira Junior High School and Sonoma Valley High School. Vince excelled in numerous sports as well as enjoying skateboarding, mountain biking, hiking and socializing with friends.

Vince was a dear and devoted husband, father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandson, uncle and friend and will truly be missed by so many. Vince had a large and generous heart and would do anything he could for his family and friends. He hardly met anyone that he didn't ultimately call a friend. Vince found a new passion in life when he married his childhood sweetheart, Jennifer Winter and with the births of his two sons Cameron and Mason. He proved to be an amazing husband and father.

In addition to his wife, Jennifer, and sons, Cameron and Mason, Vince is survived by his mother, Kelly D. Egan, and her partner, Bobbe Knoller; father, William T. Harper IV, and stepmother, Victoria Harper; brother, William T. Harper V. and fiancé, Nicole Medeiros, their son William T. Harper VI; brother, Cole Harper; grandparents, William T. Harper III and Bonnie Harper; mother in-law, Rebecca Winter; father-in-law, David Winter; stepbrother's Robbie Gribbin, Mark Ondrasek and his girlfriend, Christi Clarke; stepsister, Kelly Ondrasek; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Vince is preceded in death by his grandparents, Gordon and Melissa Egan; stepfather, Louis R. Ondrasek; and aunt, Kathleen A. Egan.

Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of Vince's life at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, at the Vintage House senior center, 264 First St. E., Sonoma, CA 95476.

Private inurnment will be held at a later date at Mountain Cemetery in Sonoma. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Vincent Harper Family Fund, c/o Westamerica Bank, 202 W. Napa St., Sonoma, CA 95476 to benefit his wife and young children.
