Valley wineries win big

B.R. Cohn Winery awarded a BEST OF CLASS & 95 POINTS at the LA International Wine & Spirits Competition for their 2007 Olive Hill Cabernet.

Charles Creek Chardonnay 2009 “Las Patolitas” took a 98 point, Double Gold, Best of CA., Best of Class-Sonoma Apellation at the CA State Fair.

Cline Cellars received 3 "Best of Class" medals at the California State Fair Wine Competition for their 2010 Cashmere, 2010 Ancient Vines Mourvèdre and 2009 Live Oak Zinfandel.

Eric K. James 2009 Syrah-Rose' Gold at San Francisco Cronicle Wine Competition and Silver at CA Harvest Fair and 2009 Chardonnay Bronze at CA Harvest Fair. 

Fieldsa 2009 Syrah-Rose' Silver at CA Harvest Fair and 2007 Syrah Bronze at CA Harvest Fair

Hamel Family Wines yet-to-be-released 2007 Pamelita Cabernet Sauvignon takes a Silver Medal at the California State Fair Wine Competition.

Landmark Vineyards' 2008 Damaris Reserve Chardonnay is recommended by Food & Wine's Best New Chef Bryce Gilmore of Barley Swine in Austin to pair with his grilled carrot salad.

Little Vineyards Family Winery won a Double Gold 98 points, Best of Class for their 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon at the CA State Fair.

Robledo Family Winery's Los Carneros Brut Cuvee has won 3 Gold Medals. Medals received from the 2011 West Coast Wine Competition, 2011 LA International Wine Competition and the 2011 California State Fair.

WineSpectator.com awards Sebastiani Vineyards & Winery 2007 Secolo with 92 points and the Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon with 87 points, naming it a Best Value on their list.

 

Ty Caton Vineyards was recently awarded a Best of the Best  for the 2008 Tytanium by Quarterly Review of Wines in their 27th annual blind tasting.  Tytanium was rated as a Five-Star California Proprietary Red Blend in their June first Best of the Best issue.
