Union Bank celebrates first year in Sonoma, Anna Grant joins staff
Union Bank's Sonoma Branch Manager Molly Fedorchak was all smiles this week having not only completed the bank's first year in Sonoma, but doubling the deposit goal set for the new branch's first year growth projections. She also announced the addition of Sonoma Valley resident Anna Grant as her newest senior relationship banker.
Elaine Genevro, Union Bank's senior vice president and market president for Northern California, praised the entire Sonoma staff and said that the Sonoma branch exceeded all expectations for the first year and more than doubled its deposit goal.
"Sonoma is the fastest growing branch we've opened," Genevro added.
Fedorchak, a longtime Sonoma Valley resident and businesswoman, said she was thrilled with the way the bank has been welcomed. "We've added many new customers and they have all become strong advocates for us. We pride ourselves on our personalized service. We know our customers by name. They like coming here. It is what sets us apart," Fedorchak stated. She pointed out that with the addition of Anna Grant, all members of the Sonoma branch staff are local residents.
A native of Sonoma, Grant joins Union Bank with nearly 20 years of banking experience. She is responsible for overseeing the banking needs of individual and business accounts. Grant joins Union Bank from Bank of Marin where she served as Financial Services Representative. Previously, she has held positions at Sonoma Valley Bank, Wells Fargo, and Bayview Federal. Anna has three children: Jason, 23, Matt, 21, and Cidnee, 16.
