Towing kows not illegal

The June 3 Editorial and Opinion page contains a letter headed, "Out of control busy bodies." It is a minor matter that "busybodies" is a single word, unless the heading refers to material forms of organisms that are engaged in a lot of activity.

But the letter itself makes a serious accusation, directed at some City Council members: that they are "illegally cow-towing to the lib bullies." Certainly, towing cows must be cruelty to animals, and I am glad to know that it is illegal, even though "weak" and "ineffective." Kowtowing, on the other hand, is not, to my knowledge, illegal, though it may have either negative or positive results.
