Theresa Pulido shares new crafting book

Valley author Theresa Pulido offers a book signing and demonstration at Readers’ Books on Thursday, Nov. 17, at 7:30 p.m.

Pulido is the author of “Hook, Loop & Lock” and will share her newest book, “Locking Loops.’

Both books cover unique ways to use locker hooking – a traditional, yet obscure rug hooking technique – to craft home décor, gifts and wearable designs.

“In 2009, Theresa Pulido single handedly put locker hooking – an age-old craft that had practically disappeared – back on the map with her runaway club hit ‘Hook, Loop and Lock.’ Now, she’s back with a slew of fun new ideas and projects to put your locker hook and scrap fabric to fun new use,”  Crafter’s Choice wrote of her work.

She will show attendees how to recycle old textiles in a new way.
