The kindness of strangers

  I was reminded this summer what a special community Sonoma is. My mobility was restricted because of a broken foot in a giant boot, and getting around was complicated with having to load a walker into the trunk of my car and then using crutches to get to the driver’s side.

  My thanks to the many “strangers” who saw me struggling and came to my aid, both with the loading and unloading of the car and with shopping.

  And a special thanks to the folks at Sonoma Market, who helped so much.
