Thanks to camera contributors
Editor, Index-Tribune:
I would like to thank the community of Sonoma for their generous donations of cameras and camera equipment to the photography classes at Sonoma Valley High. We had an overwhelming outpouring of support that is helping put cameras in the hands of students.
We attempted to send thank you notes to each individual who donated, but there were some anonymous donors, some addresses that were misplaced and some letters returned to sender. If you donated and didn't receive a thank you or tax receipt, I want you to know how grateful we are. Please let us know if you still need a tax donation receipt.
I also wanted to thank the Teacher Support Network volunteers who helped organize the donations. Without them, this would never have happened.
Sonoma Valley High has one of the largest, best-equipped high school darkrooms in Sonoma County, if not Northern California. Our program has produced working professionals who are making contributions to the photographic community. In order to maintain our traditions, cameras and camera equipment are still needed, and any donations will be put to good use. Thank you once again.
