On April 8 and 9 eleven teens from Sonoma Valley Teen Services went camping at Samuel P. Taylor Park in Inverness. The Stewardship Council, which encourages teens to explore the Bay Area, funded the camping trip.

The teens prepared meals around a camp fire, sang camp songs and developed friendships. The trip was made possible in conjunction with the Sonoma Ecology Center, whose chaperone, Vidya Quigley, led night hikes with the help of Rebecca Hermosillo and Cristin Lawrence, SV Teen Services program managers.

On the way back to Sonoma the teens explored the towns of Fairfax and San Rafael, where they visited Dominican College campus.
