Sep 12, 2011 - 06:55 PM
Eighth-grader Jacquelyn George holds part of a 25-foot-by-40-foot American flag that was unfurled at the end of St. Francis Solano School's remembrance to the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attack. The students heard speakers and songs, planted their own flags on the school's front lawn and unfurled the giant flag as part of the school's annual tribute. A number of police, fire and aviation personnel also participated in the event.
