Straight from the horse's mouth

Editor, Index-Tribune:
This is in response to the recent letter from Anthony Eglin ("Horse feathers," Index-Tribune Sept. 9).
Horse feathers indeed!
Where does he think the phrase, "down in the mouth" comes from?
And, I don't think much of his "expert," Dr. Clyde S. Dale.
I know I'm right about this issue. I get every "bit" of my information "straight from the horses mouth!"
