This year at the Sonoma County Fair, the children in Marilyn Redden's 4-H Breeding Sheep Project did extremely well. There were multiple categories and the Sonoma youngsters were well represented.
Caleb Bray won first place in showmanship. Teresa Crumbly received fourth place in the ladies lead and reserve champion for the wool her blue faced Leister produced. She also received a sixth place in showmanship.
Kayla Minehan won fourth place in showmanship and second place in the Dorset Breed Show. While Savanah Schell won reserve champion for all other meat breeds and sixth place in showmanship.
Finally, Francesca Pharo won fifth place in showmanship, second place in all other meat breeds, and first place in the ladies lead.
