Santa’s coming back
Robbi Pengelly/Index-Tribune
After an unexpectedly sudden departure from the Sonoma Plaza on Friday, Dec. 2, Santa Claus has gone to great lengths to arrange for a return visit this Friday, so that children young and old can have a better opportunity for a visit and a photo.
Santa has extended his regrets for all who missed the opportunity to greet him last week, but unexpected circumstances required his premature exit. This Friday, after a brief edit of his naughty-and-nice list, he’ll be back on the antique fire truck he favors for his Sonoma appearances with time to spread Christmas cheer to all who visit the Plaza.
Santa will arrive at 5:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 9, in front of City Hall and will be available for about an hour. He expressed special thanks to the City of Sonoma, the Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Sonoma Valley Fire and Rescue Authority for accommodating a return visit.
