Santa visits the Plaza

Santa gives the reindeer a break and instead comes to Sonoma riding in an antique fire truck. He makes his visit to the Plaza on Friday, Dec. 2, at 5:30 p.m. to light up tree that adorns City Hall.

  Prior to his arrival, the Sonoma Soroptimists will be serving up steaming cups of hot chocolate to keep attendees warm while waiting for Santa. The beverage service begins at 5 p.m. and the club will pour an estimated 400 cups before the night is over.

There is no charge to take part in the Sonoma tradition and all are welcomed to attend.
