Same name, different Carpenter

  On Oct. 18, the Index-Tribune published an article titled, “Meth matters in the Valley of the Moon,” stating that a 50-year-old David Carpenter was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance.

  My name is also David Carpenter, I am 55 years old and I work as a carpenter in Sonoma Valley. Approximately one year ago, when David Carpenter was (previously) arrested, it hurt my business in the Valley for obvious reasons.

  I would appreciate it if you could print something in your paper indicating that another David Carpenter (me) is being hurt by this article, and it is affecting my business and my family’s welfare.

  My full name is David Allan Carpenter and, unfortunately, the other David Carpenter’s middle name is Allen (different spelling).

  I would greatly appreciate it if you could publish this.
