Life in Sonoma
Long live Trashion! The call went out for all fashionistas to gather, and WE did, at the Sonoma Community Center to celebrate the creativity that surrounds us.
The task was to create fashion with recycled materials: shopping bags, maps, tea bags, coffee filters, etc, you get the idea, and they did.
To everybody’s amazement the runway was filled with pieces that had the attending audience clapping and cheering for the models and designers.
In the audience, and looking like models themselves were, Wendy Owen Isbrandtsen, who wore a necklace of her own creation made out of an edition of The Sonoma Index Tribune, Sharon Cohn, Rick Tackett (Alain Pinel Realtors) and Avram Goldman (Pacific Union International) there to support his wife, Lori Goldman a participant designer, and is daughter and model Lia Goldman.
Kudos and a standing ovation to the evening’s producers; the SCC and the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art. We look forward to The Trashion Fashion Show + Exhibit 2012. Say Cheese!
