SONOMA LIFE - Sonomawood

Sonomawood – Yes for a few days our beautiful Valley was the movie capital of “our” world. Filmmakers, actors and movie fans came from all over to celebrate the art of filmmaking at the Sonoma International Film Festival 2011.

The event was a wonderful collage of feature films, documentaries, shorts and a party or two. OK! Many parties and celebrations (EDK, Little Switzerland, HopMonk, Lokal Sebastiani Winery, etc.). Sonoma residents open their homes and businesses to welcome the festival visitors.

Susan Sarandon, this year’s honoree, made a great impression on the Tribute Gala audience. She was engaging, entertaining and a lady. Congratulations and a heartfelt thank-you to the festival’s Board of Directors, Staff and many, many volunteers for a great job.

Now let’s all get back to work!
