SONOMA LIFE - La Luz Hoedown

The call came to attend an old fashion Hoedown at La Luz Center and we did! A fiddling cowgirl welcomed us; we saddled up and danced into the sunset. Our spurs were on and the cold margaritas were flowing. But wait, it got better! Next came a Mexican dinner by Ramón Contreras and square dancing in Booker Hall - Fantástico!

Cowboy and cowgirl boots, along with cowboy hats, denim and bandanas were the dress code for the evening and looking mighty good in them were Dave and Vicki Stollmeyer, Scott Smith, Marcelo Defreitas, Tim Freeman, Dean Carvalho, Bob Kowal and Inge Hutzel to name a few.

Another great evening in Sonoma Valley all in support of a wonderful organization that helps our Latino community.

“Noche en Copacabana”, Sunday, August 14th at 6 PM at the Sonoma Barracks.
Noche promises to be a great evening filled with Brazilian dancers, live Cuban band, Latin cuisine, open bar and live auction.
