It was great to attend the Sonoma Valley Harvest Wine Auction sponsored by Trilogy Glass & Packaging at Cline Cellars. This was the Grand Finale to Sonoma Wine Country Weekend. With a theme of “Sonoma Homecoming – Vintage 2011” characters such as cheerleaders (Michelle Heston and Kelly Cosgrove), athletes (Rick Miron), marching band members and homecoming queens (Lori Miron) rallied the spirits at the auction.

Wines, lots of them, were poured and lunch was served. The luncheon menu was created by: Carlo Cavallo, Meritage Martini Oyster Bar & Grille; Duskie Estes, Zazu Restaurant & Farm; Antonio Ghilarducci, Depot Restaurant; Jeff Mall, Zin Restaurant & Wine Bar; Thomas Schmidt, John Ash & Co.; Josh Silvers, Petite Syrah Restaurant; John Toulze, the girl & the fig; Justin Wangler, Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates; Brian West, ESTATE and Andrew Wilson, Carneros Bistro & Wine Bar.

A great way to spend a summer afternoon and raise funds for two great organizations the Sonoma Hospital Foundation and the Redwood Food Bank.
