Robert D. Abbey

Robert D. Abbey passed away peacefully on Dec. 18, 2010, at the age of 88.

Robert was a devoted husband to his wife of 58 years, Faye Abbey.

He is survived by his son, Shay Abbey; daughters, Gaye D'Acquisto and Caye Rowe; son-in-law, Gary D'Acquisto; grandchildren, Shiloh Macheras, Brooke Agresti, Alexa D'Acquisto and Tyler Rowe; and great-grandchildren, Connor and Blake Macheras.

Robert was a World War II veteran and graduate of Pepperdine, USC and UC Berkeley with a Ph.D. in education. Robert enjoyed his family, wood-working, gardening and reading. Spending his final years in Sonoma and Petaluma, Robert will be remembered a delightful man who enjoyed music, family and friends
