Robert Allan Ingersoll Sr.
Robert Ingersoll Sr.

Robert Allan Ingersoll Sr. passed away on March 8, 2011, at home in the early morning after a short battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 55.
He is survived lovingly by his devoted wife, Coral, of 32 years; his children, Coral Lynn Cserna (partner, Greg), Robby Ingersoll Jr. (Monea) and Matthew Ingersoll. He was the beloved grandfather of Kailee and Josh Cserna, John Hampton, Garrett, Makenna and Sierra Ingersoll and one great-grandchild, Lily. Robert is also survived lovingly by his sister, Lynn Alva and brother, Kevin Johnson (Pam); his nieces and nephews, Leah and Ben Alva, Jacob, Brittany and Kody Johnson; great-nieces, Elaina, Kelsee, Destinee, Emma and Cloey; and his aunt, Gayle Howel; and cousins, Gary (Sandy) and Ted Beerbower, Sherry Mann and Darla Ballard.
Rob maintained his bright spirit and loving way until the end of his journey. In his final days he was surrounded by family and his lifelong friend, Harry Meglen.
Rob was born in Eureka, then moved to and grew up in Sonoma for 48 years.
Rob was a member of Local Union #22 for 35 years and was working North Counties Drywall as a supervisor before he fell ill. He was a PFC in the Marines before his career as a sheet rocker. He was also a cook at one point but continued to enjoy cooking with and for his family and friends on many weekends and holidays.
Rob loved hunting and fishing and was a true outdoorsman. He also had a passion for vintage cars, watching football and basketball. Rob loved spending time with his family and attended every sporting event his children and grandchildren were ever involved in.
If anyone ever needed anything and he knew about it, he was the first to help in any way he could. He will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him and will be greatly missed.
There will be a family gathering at his home for the family and a celebration of life for his friends and family, to be named at a later date.
