Right about Arnold striping
Editor, Index-Tribune:
I recently sent the following letter to the Sonoma County Department of Transportation and Public Works:
I have re-read the editorial by David Bolling, on the road striping of Arnold Drive in Sonoma County. He is absolutely right. I have traveled the route numerous times at night and have had to slow down to see the six-inch stripes.
Your department says that bringing in a striping machine would be cost prohibitive. If you can’t see the road and a collision happens, could you afford a lawsuit?
