Relay seeks canned goods

Relay For Life is seeking canned food to be used as candle holders for the luminaries, the glowing bags that line the edge of the track, bearing the name of cancer survivors or those lost to the disease. After Relay, all cans will be donated to FISH.

Canned food donations can be dropped off at the following locations until Aug. 5: First Congregational Church; Book Ends; Sonoma Sports; Radio Shack; Black Bear Diner; Studio Sun; Shiso Restaurant; Parkpoint Health Center; Beauty Galore; Fitness Factory; Patt's Copy World; Body Oasis; Friedman's Home Improvement; Sonoma Valley Hospital; Arroyo Veterinary Hospital; Beehive Sonoma; Synergy Dental Group; the Al Mazza Fire Station; Clutterbug located in a private residence at 948 Oak St.; or at Relay For Life Luminaria chair Patricia Ray's house, 551 Curtin Lane.

Anyone interested in being a drop location can contact Ray at 364-4533.
