Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread
A sensational seasonal dessert
Ingredients:
- 3 1/3 cup flour
- 2 t. baking soda
- 1- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 t. cinnamon
- 1 t. nutmeg
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 cup water
- 16 oz. can of pumpkin puree
- 1-12 oz. bag of chocolate chips
Preparation - Directions:
Grease & flour 3 bread loaf pans and preheat oven to 350°. In a small bowl, measure out the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon & nutmeg. In a large bowl, mix the sugar, oil, eggs, water and pumpkin puree. Next blend the dry ingredients to the large bowl of wet ingredients. Lastly, add the chocolate chips into the batter. Pour 1/3 of the batter into each bread loaf pan. Bake bread for 60 minutes. Test with a toothpick-If toothpick comes out clean, remove bread from oven. Cool for 10 minutes and remove bread from pan(s). Note: You can also bake muffins. Pour 1/3 of batter into 12 lined muffin c. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
