Pierre Joske

Pierre Joske passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2011, after a long battle with cancer. Pierre was parks and recreation director for Marin County where he developed many parks, bike paths and was instrumental in the preservation of open space. This legacy will be enjoyed by many people, for many years to come.

Pierre is survived by his wife, Maryse; their children, Mark and his wife, Valentine; Marianne and her husband, Rob; Alain and his wife, Gina; grandchildren, Arielle Joske, Cassandra Porter, Kellen Porter, Taylor Joske, Ryley Joske; and one great-granddaughter, Emilie.
