Pasta feed at Charter School

Sonoma Charter School eighth-grader Rian Verdu will host a fundraising pasta feed on Friday, May 6, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the school, 17202 Sonoma Highway.

Proceeds from the event will go toward the physical education department at the school. "Like many schools, one of the first programs whose budget is severely affected is in the PE department. I am hoping to raise enough money for my school to assist the PE program and reduce the risk of it being totally cut out of the schools curriculum," Verdu wrote.

Tickets are $10 or $5 for kids 6 and under and can be purchased at the Epicurean Connection or at the door.
