Our Schools page seeks reader input

 

A new weekly focus on Sonoma Valley education is set to launch on Tuesday, Aug. 16, and the Index-Tribune is hoping to open new lines of communication with school administrators, teachers, students and parents.

Purpose of the page is to provide a greater opportunity for the Sonoma Valley community to learn what is happening in the schools our children attend, how to become more engaged in the activities and resources provided by our schools, and to focus on information, programs and ideas for strengthening the learning process.

The Our Schools page will be coordinated by Lorna Sheridan, who will also produce a weekly "Education Roundup" containing news from all around the Sonoma Valley Unified School District.

Anyone wanting to share information relating to any district schools, or seeking answers to questions about our schools, is invited to submit them via email to ourschools@sonomanews.com.
