Nina K. Wilson died in Sonoma on March 2, 2011. She was 94. A native of New Mexico she was a 30-year resident of Sonoma. She was also a longtime resident of Los Angeles where she was a librarian for the County of Los Angeles. She was a graduate of the University of Arizona where she was selected "Desert Queen." A lover of books and movies she continued her education and received her master's degree from the University of Southern California.

She worked for Time Magazine in New York where she met her husband, Donald Wilson Sr., who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her four brothers. Nina was a great cook and she also loved to travel.

She is survived buy her son, Donald Wilson Jr., of Sonoma; and by her daughter, Barbara Davies, of Australia; by her two grandchildren, Beau and Willow Davies of Australia; and by her dear friend, Rose Salem. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Sonoma.

The family would like to thank her caregivers, Lorna and Yoana, who where so compassionate in caring for her. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends are invited to attend a service and inurnment on Friday, March 11, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 275 E. Spain St., Sonoma, CA 95476.
