‘Next Victim, Please’ performed at Altimira

“Next Victim, Please,” a murder mystery by Rocky Soderman and Terri Ferguson, storms the stage at Altimira Middle School next week.

  Public performances are scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday, Dec. 20 and 22, at 7 p.m.

  The show will also be performed for students at Altimira, Sassarini, El Verano and Dunbar elementary schools.

  First time drama teacher Dutch Van Herwynen has been working with the students since August, working on voice projection, blocking of scenes, lighting, stage set up – all facets of drama production. Van Herwynen stepped up to teach drama over the summer when the drama program was on the chopping block. It is his plan to build the program and have more productions this year as well as in future years.

Tickets are available at the door for a cost of $3, or $2 with Altimira student body card.
