Newspapers discussed at Depot

 

The Sonoma Valley Historical Society's general meeting will be held on Friday, Oct. 14, at 2 p.m. at the Depot Park Museum. The speaker will be Sandi Hansen who will speak about the "Evolution of Sonoma Valley's Newspapers and the Importance of Archiving Them."

Hansen has 25 years experience in media including television, radio, public relations, newspapers and advertising.

She was a reporter and head of the archiving department at the Sonoma Index-Tribune for eight years.

The museum is at 270 First St. W.
