Mary Perpich
Mary Perpich
Mary Perpich passed away on Jan. 6, 2011, at her home of 47 years in Sonoma. A devoted wife of Nick Perpich for 52 years, she is also survived by her loving son, Martin Perpich, of San Francisco; and her loving daughter, Catherine Michaud and her husband, Peter Michaud; along with her two grandchildren, Madeline and John-Peter Michaud, of Maine.
A second generation San Franciscan, Mary met and married Nick while they were both working for the City and County of San Francisco.
After a few years, they decided to raise their family in the small country town of Sonoma. Mary was a devoted mother and a true lady. She also loved Italian culture. Maybe St. Peter greeted her with "Buon Giorno, Maria."
A memorial Mass will be said at St. Francis Solano Church on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, at noon. All are welcome to come by the house after Mass.
When Mary knew she was dying, her wish was to remain at home. The extraordinary women of Hospice, Judith, Maureen, Diane and Cheryl, made her wish come true. The family will always be grateful to them for their emotional support and expert care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities for the poor.
