Magic Marinated Beef

 Ingredients:

2 cloves garlic, chopped

2 T. olive oil

1/2 cup red wine vinegar

1/3 cup catsup

1 T. Worcestershire sauce

1 t. sugar

1 t. dried basil, crushed
1 chuck steak (2 to 3 pounds)

Preparation - Directions:

Saute garlic in oil until tender but not browned. Remove from heat. Combine vinegar, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, sugar and basil. Add to garlic, pour over meat and marinate 24 to 36 hours, turning frequently. Drain and reserve marinade. Grill or broil meat to desired doneness, about 20 minutes per side for rare. Brush often with reserved marinade. Slice and serve immediately.
