Loved the Fabulous Follies
Editor, Index-Tribune:
Last Friday, the “Fabulous Follies” was presented at the Sonoma Community Center. It was a spectacular show, from the fantastic winter costumes by Margaret Hatcher to the uplifting, toe-tapping melodies by the talented instrumentalists and the wonderful singers. (Who knew the Hot Flashes were so enjoyable?) There was a belly dancer extraordinary and an excellent Hula Hooper. All who performed (Even Santa Claus and the great emcee lady with the sultry voice) deserves a big hand.
But even more thrilling was the cost. Sonoma has become too rich for the average person. We are gouged $75 to $100 to attend most events. Outrageous. This amazing show was within most peoples’ budget. The price was $25 for a ticket to wonderland and a cocktail thrown in for good measure.
Thank you all who were involved with the Fabulous Follies. I, and I’m sure everyone else, loved it.
