Locals discounts at Napa Valley Film Fest

Sep 29, 2011 - 03:34 PM

Napa Valley Film Festival (NVFF) directors and Sonoma Valley residents Brenda and Marc Lhormer are pulling together the final pieces of the inaugural Film Festival, which runs Nov. 9 to 13. With more than 75 independent films in the line-up, including films starring Leonard DiCaprio and Jennifer Aniston, Sonoma County residents are now eligible for the "locals" discount offered to Napa Valley residents.

The event incldes NVFF studio sneak previews; wine tastings at select screening venues and in festival wine pavilions; on-stage culinary demonstrations; a series of special events, including the opening night gala, tribute program, closing night awards ceremony and wrap party; as well as VIP receptions and dinners at private winery estates. NVFF offers a unique community-focused footprint, with screening and hospitality venues clustered in four walk-able villages: Napa, Yountville, St. Helena and Calistoga. Films and filmmakers will travel from village to village, while festival attendees may choose to immerse themselves in one community or sample the different venues.

Participation opportunities and passes for the inaugural NVFF are available now, and Sonoma County residents can get $50 off NVFF passes, using the code, LOCAL. Visit www.napavalleyfilmfest.org for full details.
