Locals discount for Wine Country Film Festival
The Wine Country Film Festival is a celebration of world culture where cinema, the arts, cuisine and community gather for enlightened dialogue, cultural exchange and plenty of fun. The festival takes place Sept. 14 to 20 with films and special events set at Deerfield Ranch Winery in Kenwood and Summerfield, Third Street Cinemas and the Roxy in Santa Rosa.
The festival is offering a discounted locals pass to residents who live in Kenwood, Glen Ellen, Oakmont and Santa Rosa. The pass is good for all regular screenings, priority entrance, your choice of one of two Opening Night films and access to the festival's Hospitality Lounge.
The festival's new Hospitality Lounge is located in Santa Rosa and will be open exclusively to pass holders, offering cocktail hours with attending filmmakers and special guests, an art exhibit featuring artwork by Glen Ellen artist Don Ponte and other art by local artists who have come together creating the film festival's new Art and Cinema: A Dual Dialogue program and late night intimate gatherings.
The locals pass is $100 and only 100 will be available. Purchase must be made by Aug. 31. Call the office at 935-3456 or purchase a pass online at eventbrite.com.
