LisRobin horseriders open season with two steady school-showings, Halliwell reserve champ at Miwok

On the heels of a promising start to the 2011 season at the recent Napa Valley Equestrian Center Schooling Show, the Valley’s LisRobin Horse Farm’s equestrian team – under the direction of Sonoma horse-riding teacher Tiana Wells – turned in another upbeat effort at the Miwok Schooling Show.
The LisRobin horse-riders were led at the Napa schooling show by Ally Smith, who rode Acorn (owned by Heamar Horses) to a first-place finish in beginner rider hunter under saddle, fourth in cross-rail warm-up and fifth in beginner rider equitation on the flat.
Lily Pier, atop her horse Ima Starlite Sky, earned first-place cross-rail warm-up, fifth in beginner rider hunter under saddle, and sixth in both beginner rider hunter over fences and beginner rider equitation over fences.
Sierra Sowinski on Acorn, and Eden Hutchinson on Panda (Tiana Wells), each took home first-place in lead line ages 7-years-old-and-under.
Caroline McNeill, riding Fitzpatrick (Debra Lehane), was third in beginner rider equitation on the flat and fourth in beginner rider hunter under saddle.
Sachi Spaulding, atop Keoki kane (Wells), finished third in cross rail warm-up and fourth in both walk/trot/canter hunter under saddle and walk/trot/canter equitation.
Louise Murphy, riding Freckles (Wells), was third in beginner rider hunter under saddle and fifth in beginner rider hunter over fences.
Olivia Halliwell rode her family horse Wellington to two fourths in beginner rider hunter over fences, and sixths in beginner rider hunter under saddle and beginner rider equitation on the flat.
Lydia Griggs, riding her family horse Bluesy, took fifths in maiden hunter under saddle and maiden equitation on the flat, and sixth in maiden equitation over fences.
Velsea Warton, atop Panda (Wells), finished fifth in both walk/trot/canter hunter over poles and walk/trot/canter equitation over poles, and sixth in walk/trot/canter equitation.
Shannon Stark, riding Paiute (Heamar Horses), was fifth in both walk/trot/hunter over ground poles and walk/trot equitation over ground poles, and sixths in walk/trot hunter under saddle and walk/trot equitation under saddle.

At the Miwok Schooling Show, Halliwell, riding her family horse Wellington, was the mini hunter division reserve champion with second-places in mini equitation over fences 2’3” and mini medals 2’3”, and claimed fourths in mini hunter over fences 2’3” and mini equitation on the flat.
Pier, atop her horse Ima Starlite Sky, and Murphy, riding Freckles (Wells), each finished third in kindergarten equitation and kindergarten hunter under saddle, respectively.
Devin Bacon rode Zane Grey (Wells) to fourth in low hunter equitation over fences 2’ and fifths in both low hunter hack and low hunter equitation on the flat.
Griggs, riding Crazy Blue Lace (Griggs-Demmin Family), was fourth in low hunter equitation on the flat, fifth in low hunter over fences 2’ and sixth in warm-up hunters 2’.
Melanie Schwartz rode her horse Pumpkin to fifth in walk/trot/canter ages 21-years-and-older, while Smith, atop Hualapie (Heamar Horses), was sixth in kindergarten equitation.
