On Tuesday, four Sonoma Valley High School girls’ teams competed in Sonoma County League home and road matches without a win to show for all their hard work and determined efforts.
While the varsity Lady Dragons started strong, but faded in a volleyball loss – 25-15, 20-25, 22-25, 20-25 – at Petaluma, they began slow in their home soccer match and fell behind, then dominated the majority of the action, but, couldn’t score and ended up falling 2-0 to defending champion Casa Grande.
At the Sonoma Golf Club, the Lady Dragon golfers dropped a 293-323 decision to visting Healdsburg, and at the Ragle Ranch Park courts in Sebastopol, the Sonoma tennis girls were downed 6-1 by El Molino.
