Posting a pair of Sonoma County League wins yesterday were the Sonoma Valley High School girls’ varsity soccer and volleyball teams, while the tennis squad dropped an SCL road decision.

The volleyball Lady Dragons shook off their heartbreaking five-game loss to defending champion Analy two days earlier by defeating visiting Healdsburg in four at Pfeiffer Gym.

Sonoma’s varsity soccer girls were in command of another SCL match, but, this time, they registered a win, instead of dropping a heartbreaker to Healdsburg after dominating on Tuesday.

This time the Lady Dragons took out their frustrations on visiting El Molino with a rousing 6-2 victory at the high school field.

Sonoma’s tennis girls ran into not just another strong SCL opponent last Thursday, but defending champion Casa Grande, which handed them a 6-1 defeat in Petaluma.
