It was a triumphant Thursday at home for Sonoma Valley High School in golf and volleyball, but, unfortunately, the day didn’t turn out to well on the road for Sonoma’s young tennis girls.
Sparked by junior Jordann Dagner’s medalist performance, the Lady Dragon golfers won their first match of the season, in what happens to be their regular-season finale, by beating Sonoma County League foe El Molino 305-329 yesterday at the Sonoma Golf Club course.
Sonoma’s varsity volleyball girls registered their fourth-straight SCL win by defeating Windsor 26-24, 25-9, 25-19 last night at Pfeiffer Gym.
As for the tennis Lady Dragons, they dropped a 6-1 SCL decision yesterday afternoon in Healdsburg.
