Katherine Fotinos

Katherine Fotinos, passed peacefully away at her home in Sonoma on Jan. 5, 2011. She was 84.

A 35-year resident of Sonoma and a native of San Francisco, she was born on April 12, 1926, to the late Angelina and Christ Fotinos. She was the dear sister of George Fotinos, Christine Kolaites, Mary Anagnostou and the late Tom Fotinos.

She is also survived by nieces, nephews and by grand-nieces and -nephews.

Katherine was an elementary school teacher in the San Francisco Unified School District for 40 years. She was an active member of St. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Vallejo.

Friends are invited to attend a visitation and prayer service at Duggan's Mission Chapel, 525 W. Napa St., Sonoma, CA 95476 on Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, at 7 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at St. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1224 Alabama St., Vallejo, CA 94590, on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow the church service at Valley Cemetery, 425 E. MacArthur St., Sonoma, CA 95476.
