Jerome Francis 'Jerry' Cichon
Jerome Francis "Jerry" Cichon, 87, passed away on Aug. 26, 2011, in Sonoma. He was born July 13, 1924, in Chicago, Ill., to Joseph and Theresa Cichon and was a veteran of the United States Army during World War II and with the United States Air Force in Korea. Jerry loved animals: cats, dogs and especially (being around and riding) horses. He was an avid and happy ballroom dancer. Jerry was very proud of his affiliation with A.A. and his 37 years of sobriety and he was a 21-year resident of Sonoma.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, his two cats, and many other friends in Sonoma.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass at noon, on Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at St. Francis Solano Church, 300 W. Napa St., Sonoma, CA 95476 with Father Michael Kelly officiating.
A private inurnment will be held in accordance with Jerry's wishes. Memorial donations in Jerry's honor can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
