Open field
It’s time for the top-level racing events to begin at Infineon Raceway, with the 2011 Big O Tires major events season opening with the West Coast Moto Jam AMA Pro Road Racing weekend starting this Friday, May 13, and running through Saturday, May 14, and Sunday, May 15.
After the American Motorcycle Association’s West Coast Moto Jam, the Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival will arrive in the Valley on June 4 and 5.
Infineon’s most-popular and attended spectacle, the Toyota/Save Mart 350 NASCAR weekend, will then make its 2011 appearance the weekend of June 24 to 26.
Rounding out Infineon’s major events for the year are the NHRA Division 7 Drag Racing weekend of July 22 to 24; the FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals from July 29 to 31; the Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma weekend of Aug. 26 to 28; and the Classic Sports Racing Group Charity Challenge on Oct. 1 and 2.
If you want to get the most out of attending major events at Infineon, then you should purchase the raceway’s most inclusive ticket package, the Track Pass, which costs $399 and includes tickets to all major events, plus season-long VIP parking, a Pre-Race Pit and Track Pass for NASCAR, a garage pass for IndyCar, and more.
To purchase individual or weekend tickets, the Track Pass, or other special ticket packages, or for details on Wednesday Night Drags, Top the Cops, Drifting, or for more general information, visit www.infineonraceway.com, www.ticketmaster.com, or call 800-870-RACE (7223).
So, if you’re into the motorsports, you’ll be able to catch some of the best action in, not only the country, but on the planet, right in your backyard at Infineon Raceway.
Ciao!
