'I think I have it ...'

Jul 21, 2011 - 06:22 PM
Four-year-old Grant Kiser decided the best way to put the container of DriWater into the ground while planting some zinfandel vines Wednesday was to lay down and put it in that way. Grant was helping 4-H kids plant an educational vineyard at Adele Harrison Middle School. Employees of Larson Family Vineyards helped about 20 4-H kids plant the 120 zinfandel vines. Nova Vines donated the vines and Sonoma Compost donated compost for the project. The educational vineyard is the first to be planted at any Sonoma Valley Unified School District school and is a part of the school garden project.
