Heartwarming tales of our city
The Index-Tribune for Friday, June 10 was the best. Robbi Pengelly's delightful picture of ducks, ducklings and duckies, and Carole Kelleher's fondly-written article ("Roses, yoga and water for the dogs") about Howard Costello, are some of the reasons we treasure living here in Sonoma.
Dressed in his Cal gear and carrying his yoga mat, Howard has greeted us many times on the bike path, but I had no idea he was the man behind the beautiful blooming roses, and that he had taught at Sonoma Valley High School. Wonderful storytelling about a beautiful soul.
Thank you, and let's have more of these heartwarming tales of our city.
