Heart-warming feeling finding missing man

  As reported last month in the Index-Tribune about “Missing man safe,” John Blayney was found. As a neighbor of John’s on White Alder, I felt compelled to write our community about the wonderful feelings our family has concerning the all-out effort and commission shown by these neighbors and friends in this emergency.

  What a heartwarming experience it was to see our community pull together in the time of an emergency: friends out looking and calling for Jon Blayney, lights left on during the night, neighbors on horseback searching the ranch, people assisting the Sheriff’s department and rescue people with food, drinks, water, offers of places to sleep.

  We are so grateful for John being found. A big thank you to Jon Parker for his prompt response to the situation and alerting us all, and a huge thank you to all of you.
