Hating most Americans?

Editor, Index-Tribune:

    

  In Mary Morrongiello’s letter last week (Index-Tribune, Oct. 18) belittling the people who participated in Occupy Sonoma, she also seems to have plenty of disdain for Americans in general.

  She disparages the millions of people between the ages of 18 and 45 who have no health coverage as freeloaders.

  She considers middle class Chrysler and GM workers parasites for accepting bailout loans, that by the way have mostly been paid back.

  She taunts the millions of senior citizens who collect Social Security, that they have paid into all their lives, as welfare recipients.

  She ridicules the millions of poor and disadvantaged women, who receive government assistance in order to survive, as thieves who reach into her wallet to steal her money.

  She mocks the 24 million Americans who have no job as slackers.

  In fact, it sounds like Mary pretty much dislikes most Americans.

  But it that’s the case, who does that leave us with?
