Harvest's here

Grape pickers across the Valley are keeping busy bringing in the 2011 harvest, which got off to a late start thanks to the cool summer. However, growers are facing pressure from the skies with rain predicted next week, which has the potential to adversely affect the grapes still hanging on the vine. This weekend is the Harvest Fair at the county fairgrounds in Santa Rosa. Valley winemakers fared well in the wine competition.
