Green Drinks looks at solar energy

Green Drinks of Sonoma will host guest speaker Anthony Abate, a consultant with Real Good Solar, a leader in the sustainable solar industry offering installation of solar and other renewable products since 1978. The hour of cocktails and environmental discussion takes place Thursday, May 5, at 6:30 p.m. at the Lodge at Sonoma, 1325 Broadway.

Sharing the stage with Abate will be Diane Lasso of the Sonoma County Energy Independence Program (SKEIP). Recently, Sonoma County filed suit in Federal Court against Fanny Mae, Freddie Mac and the FHFA to save this popular program, the nations largest property assessed clean energy program, which has helped more than 1,000 property owners and businesses in funding energy and water efficiency improvements.
