Graphic design class at SCC

Launching a new line of computer-based art classes at the Sonoma Community Center, “The Mac and the Muse” launches on Wednesday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. to noon.

  Participants will create informative color booklets based on their own interests or hobbies. In this course participants will discuss guidelines for composing photographs and seven easy principles of graphic design. It is lead by Lynn Fiske Watts, an experienced technology teacher.

  The eight-class session runs Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon through Dec. 7.

The cost is $112 for SCC members, $125 for non-members. To sign up, contact the Sonoma Community Center at 938-4626.
