Give us control of our castle
Editor, Index-Tribune:
PG&E compares its SmartMeter signal-radiation with microwave oven leakage, with wireless telephone signals and with wireless Internet signals.
The SmartMeter has batteries enabling communication transmissions, between it and PG&E. The SmartMeter also records amounts of energy usage.
Please install a simple toggle-switch on the shell of the SmartMeter so that the resident can switch on the communication feature, one eight-hour period a month, enabling PG&E or a local municipal power company to gather the amounts of energy useage for billing purpose.
The resident already is trusted to put out the garbage four times a month, so surely he or she can handle toggle-switching once a month to reduce unwanted signal-radiation.
Please give us back
control of our castles.
